Senior Robotics System Engineer (AMR)

Are you ready to build something ground-breaking from the ground up?
At Digital Place Vision, we are taking our AI-powered retail and warehouse strategy to the next level with a cutting-edge “Air-Ground Coordination” strategy. We are seeking a visionary Senior AMR System Engineer to take 100% ownership of our brand-new Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) platform—connecting ground base navigation with our onboard drone payload system.

As the founding technical pillar of this 0-to-1 project, you’ll drive the mobile base from initial concept and prototype all the way to commercial mass deployment. As the product scales, you will naturally step up to build and lead our robotics division.

💡 What You’ll Own & Lead:
– 0-to-1 Full-Lifecycle Ownership: Drive the AMR platform from POC and prototype through to large-scale deployment in complex retail/warehouse environments.
– Air-Ground Coordination: Build and optimize control software to coordinate real-time dispatch and communication between the AMR ground unit and its onboard drone payload.
– Nav & System Integration: Integrate LiDAR, depth cameras, and IMUs using ROS2 (Nav2 Stack) for differential/omnidirectional drive systems.
– Hardware & Electrical Design: Lead power distribution, wiring schematics, chassis vendor management, and mass-production readiness.
– Team Growth: Build foundations to step into a Robotics Team Lead role as the team and deployment scale.

🛠️ What We’re Looking For:
– Experience: 5+ years in robotics system engineering, with 3+ years dedicated to AMR / AGV development (proven track record of commercial/industrial deployment).
– Software: Mastery in C++, Python, ROS/ROS2, real-time control systems, SLAM, path planning, and localization.
– Hardware & Systems: Hands-on experience with mechanical/electrical integration, power systems, sensor fusion, and on-site troubleshooting.
– Bonus: OpenCV experience, industrial vision expertise, and a strong startup mindset ready for technical leadership.
